Truly understanding law in Australia requires us to listen and respond differently in the pursuit of True Justice.

As Traditional Owners, Educators, Interpreters, Academics and Lawyers we invite you to the Northern Territory to engage in an experience designed to transform law and the legal system in the pursuit of True Justice.

In these roles, we will connect participants to Aboriginal led expertise and experiences across law and in trauma-informed practice. The primacy and authority of our voices is core.  Different parts of country will be thread in a deliberate way in the course design and at the invitation of Traditional Owners.

We will provide participants an invaluable context for deep listening and reflective practice, unlike any other educational experiences in law.

This capacity to listen differently and respond in the pursuit of True Justice is the core of ethical practice in Australia today.

We consider these immersive, On-country experiences as necessary and essential learning for any person whose role involves Aboriginal issues.

We welcome you in taking the first step of finding out more about our vision for True Justice.

The True Justice: Deep Listening initiative was launched at the 14th National Indigenous Legal Conference and 1st Indigenous Health Justice Conference in Darwin on 14th August 2019. Watch the launch video below.
